The Sony Playstation Network is one of the most excellent ways to get awesome anime and other games directly from Japan, and now J-List is making it easy for you to sign up for a PSN Japan account, enabling you to buy all the Japan-only games for PS Vita, PSP and PS3. The system is very easy to use: just create a new account with the Japan PSN store, and you can then access all for-sale and free demo games any time you want! The Japan Playstation Network is compatible with PS Vita, Sony PSP and PS3 systems all over the world
The basic instructions for setting up a new account on a Visa is as follows. First, go to to the PSN application and hit "..." (other options). Select the top option from the list that appears (Enter prepaid code). Set your current country to JAPAN, then choose "Agree" (the bottom right option) when you see the user agreement. Enter a username (hyphens and underbar characters are permitted), then enter email and password in the next screen. Enter name and gender (optional). For the address, any random address that the system accepts will work -- for example, if you enter "110006" for the postal code and press the button to the right of the field, it will give you Akihabara in Tokyo. You don't need to enter street or building numbers. Indicate whether you'd like to receive emails from PSN Japan, then confirm everything. Next, log in to your newly created account, choose privacy settings. Go back to the main screen, hit "..." again, hit the first option (Enter prepaid code) again, then enter the code you received from J-List. You can now purchase and download any games or other content from Japan you like!
Instructions for the PSP and PS3 will be similar: go to the PSN page, set your country to Japan, create a new accout and enter the download code from J-List.Accounts are linked, so if you already set up an account on one system you can just log in on another.
