NOTICE: None, not one, of the magazines I sell on J-List feature girls under the age of eighteen whatsoever. I do everything I can to make sure that the magazines I sell here are major outfits that will follow Japan's many laws regulating the photography of minors (which are in line with those of the U.S.). There are many fly-by-night publications that feature girls that are clearly under the age of 18 posing nude, and guess what? I wouldn't touch them for anything. If you are looking for this kind of material, please don't look for it here, and don't ask me to buy it either. Thanks.
"Urecco" means "popular girl" or "girl who sells a lot [of records, photo albums, etc.]" This is hands-down the number one magazine at J-List. Published by Million Publishing, it has a wonderful format which includes professional photos of nude models (no amateur), AV introductions, interviews with AV actresses (in Japanese), and some costume play photos. Also, cassette covers and a pull out, non-nude of the cover model on one side, nude of another model on the other side. But the strongest point to Urecco might be the covers, nearly always great. Since I want to bring you magazines which I genuinely like and respect, you can find a lot of Urecco on my homepages. Subscriptions to Urecco are available.
Bejean (a play on the word bijin "beautiful woman") is the successor to the venerable Beppin magazine, which disappeared sometime in 1994. (Beppin means the same as bijin, incidentally.) The content is basically the same: good photos of models, either from the "professional nude" circuit, or the adult video world. Like Boyes and Boy's Life, Bejeans is a "wide magazine," meaning that it's pages are larger than the more standard A4 width.
Another magazine by this fine publisher is Dela Beppin ("Deluxe" Beppin, a square-back magazine featuring exceptionally high quality photography). Very popular items here at J-List.
Gokuh is one of the most lovely of all Japanese AV magazines. With a "Bejean" style large-size format, it's a great magazine, with exceptional photographs throughout. Gokuh also features a "hidden section" in every issue -- break the seal to see. Finally, Gokuh issues feature a super-large sized nude poster of one great AV gal per issue.
A genre of Japanese magazine I like a lot are the "general AV video" magazines, such as Best Video (on the right) and Video Boy (on the left). These magazines show off dozens to hundreds of hot Japanese AV actresses per issue, providing fully nude photograph features, news on new releases, lots of "new faces" in the AV scene, and of course, real shots of AV filming studios during the films are being made. They are great magazines with excellent variety in each issue.
Two more magazines that always sell well are Nippon Mini-Skirt Club (left) and Panstopia (right). Both feature lots of great photographs of sexy women. There is a lot of fetish material to be found in the world of Japanese adult magazines. Magazines like this cater to leg, panty, mini-skirt and "panty stocking" (nylon stocking) fans, and are quite good.
A more deluxe, larger version of the above fetish is Mini-Suka Deluxe, a great "Photoshot" format magazine, with large pages, perfect "square back" binding, and more luxurious pictures. Look for specialty books for stocking and panty fetish fans on the photobooks page, too -- a very elegant book.
Two popular magazines for fans of the "wet" aspects of sex (female peeing/pantswetting and facials) are Jo Mag and Milky Dolls. Both feature pro and amature Japanese women posing while peeing, getting spewed on by guys, and more.
Gal's Dee, for fans of girls with large breasts (i.e., "D" cup or greater), is a nice, larger magazine, with lots of color shots and many beautiful busty women in each issue. Other "busty" magazines include Dee Dee Topper.
The magazines which have the highest quality of photography by far are the ones I refer to a lot as the "Big 4" format magazines., mainly because Big 4 was the first of them to come out. Basically, they are softcover, square-backed magazines with photo album quality printing and paper, and are very large (larger than A4). They have several girls in every issue, and tend to show lots of "hair nudes." The magazines that fall into this category are Big 4, Photoshot (pictured), The Spark Girls, NoWon and Endless. They are all almost identical in content and format, and all very good -- although Photoshot is the only one still being printed.
