Japanese High School Uniforms

By popular demand, J-List has teamed up with the famous Matsukameya uniform manufacturing company in Nagoya, Japan to bring you a wide assortment of breathtakingly detailed and high-quality Japanese school uniforms. Hand-sewn to order by the talented staff of Matsukameya, each uniform is made of the best materials and is an authentic high school uniform (not a cheap costume), great for cosplay and anime conventions!

We have several styles for you to choose from, in both summer (with long and shirt sleeve tops) and winter versions. Please note that the pleated skirts are sold separately from the tops. Because each uniform is hand-sewn, we're unable to accept returns on these items, so please check the size before ordering (see the size chart link in each product description). Be sure to email us with any questions, too.

The Japanese have worn sandals for centuries, and many men wear them still, often well into winter. This excellent set of footwear from Japan is based on the idea of the setta, but modernizes them with a soft rubber-soled bottom, and a soft traditional clay dyed belt. The feet rest on a smooth bamboo platform that is sewn into the setta and measure 26 cm (10.2 inches) from end to end, 9.5 cm (3.74 inches) wide and 20 cm (7.8 inches) from the thong to the heel (please do be sure to check your own measurements before purchasing). These are exquisitely made, and very comfortable sandals. Very fashionable. Note: the "hanao" part (the cloth material part that fits between the toes) should be tight at first place but it gets looser as you wear it and will gradually fit your size.
