Reina Tachibana. Ai's older sister and a professor of Archeology at a university in England, Reina is in charge of the excavation team. While suffering and sometimes unreliable due to a lack of common sense, she brings to her work, a wealth of specialized knowledge. She detests treasure hunters and the way they ravage the culturally valuable ruins, but hasn't yet clued into Kasumi's true identity.
Arglelech. An up and coming treasure hunter who has recently reared his head. In contrast to his chosen profession, he is not especially attached to money and does not appear to be very aware of the stigma of being a treasure hunter. It seems that in his past somewhere lies a connection with Kasumi.

Otokawa Saori. A resident of Hayami's dorm and one of his classmates, she's the only level-headed one living there and routinely gets him out of scrapes he finds himself in. The game's main heroine.
Miyazashi Yuuki. Hayami's classmate and fellow dorm inhabitant, she's the most adult, energetic and sexually charged of the group. She uses her blunt personality and sexual wiles to get her way.
Kaneko Maiko. Another dorm resident in Hayami's class, she's the model of an emotionless, quiet bookworm. In reality she has a warped personality and is quite perverted.
Nonomiya Ruri. She looks younger than her actual age, and uses this fact to her advantage to get her way. Despite her innocent looks she's actually quite cunning, often acting with Yuuki to torment Hayami.
Morimoto Leona. A daughter of the rich and powerful Morimoto Group, the company that owns and runs St. Arcadia. President of the student council and a sadist who believes the world revolves around her, once she sets her sights on Hayami she won't let him go.
Morimoto Reina. Eldest daughter of the Morimoto Group and chairwoman of St. Arcadia's board of directors. Even more arrogant than her younger sister, for some reason she also takes a liking to Hayami.
Matsuno Kaori. Hayami's homeroom teacher. She seems as undependable as she is young and beautiful, and has been known to demand special "supplementary lessons" of students who get bad grades.
Yamanaka Kumi. The captain of the girl's tennis club, she is fond of catching peeping toms red-handed in the locker room and having her way with them. The number of boys she has taken captive is unknown.
Himeki Karen. The vice president of Leona's "social club", despite her prim demeanor she's something of a nymphomaniac. She is quite proud of her meter-plus bust measurement, and uses it to ensnare Hayami.
Endou Momoe. A member of the scripture research club and one year Hayami's junior. She's weak against authority and just tends to go with the flow.
Nishizaki Yuri. Member of the Committee for Heinous Public Morals and the older Nishizaki sister. She exceeds her sister in sadistic temperament.
Nishizaki Momone. Member of the Committee for Heinous Public Morals and the younger Nishizaki sister. She is a superb technician with her mouth and hands.
Linda Hamilton. A genius baseball player summoned from America by Leona. She can throw a killer changeup and a 150 kph fastball. Both her baseball skills and her proportions are truly amazing.
Araki Madoka. A supplementary lessons tutor. She is strong-willed and watchful, but those traits have been known to backfire...
Fujiwara Nanase. A member of the scripture research club in the same grade as Hayami. A "fighting friend" of Takigawa?
Itou Kaoru. Leona's pet. He adores her, and has sworn his absolute obedience to her; at first he is hostile to Hayami, but gradually that begins to change...
Sudou. Hayami's classmate; an over-familiar, frivolous guy who likes to push his luck. He gets close to Hayami immediately after his transfer, but nothing good comes of the interaction; he's head of the photography club but has some more sketchy business on the side.
Isobe Katsuo. Captain of the university baseball team. Due to the team's notorious losing streak and his equally notorious personality the club is on the verge of being closed.
Takigawa Yuuji. A student in Hayami's year and a member of the scripture research club. Despite the presence of very few regular guys in the school he doesn't really stand out.
Satou Tooru. A supplementary lessons group member who seems to always be found near the bathroom. Hold it in!
Machida Kouzou. A teacher at the university. His professional life is trampled underfoot by Leona; truly a pitiable human being.
Ogiwara Eikichi. A "Great Teacher" summoned by the vice principal to counteract Leona's influence. He plans to reform her with his dreadfully severe style of hard education, but will the plan succeed?

When Martha realizes that she is at death's door, she leaves her son, the Great Swordsman ALES with her last wish before passing away. In order to convey Martha's final words, ALES strikes out alone on a quest for Will, a girl known as "The Song of God".

The year 13,800 A.D. Due to an apocalypse that ravaged the entire earth several centuries earlier, humans have been relegated to the position of an endangered species on blighted land. Aqua. A strange young girl encountered in Plen Arc, she is in actuality, one of God's four mediums. By all appearances, she is merely a child, but in reality is older than ALES and talks as if she were an adult. She takes an interest in ALES and decides to help him under certain conditions.
Will. Lives in Plen Arc. She is a member of "Song of God" and tasked with the duty of conveying the will of God to people through dance. God called to her, but because she defied him, the oracles have decimated Plen Arc. When ALES arrives in Plen Arc, she has gone missing. The question is whether she perished with the city, or...
Quake. A man that lives in the seaside hamlet of Sea Arc also happens to be an oracle. Normally living a quiet life with the fishermen of Sea Arc, QUAKE cuts a bold figure and has a personality that leaves an impression. Despite appearances, he is also a man of deep reflection and possesses a wealth of knowledge. A certain incident drives him to join forces in taking action with ALES.
Sui. Raised as the daughter of a florist, on her 18th birthday a coup d'etat occurs and she is told by her surrogate mother, Nene, that she is the last member of the royal family. But because of the coup d'etat, she is unable to ascend to the thrown and Nene is killed by the conspirators behind the political takeover. Bequeathed the "Key of Will" with which she has been entrusted, she sets off on a journey with Laliela to see that it is delivered to the Sage U.
Laliela. Laliela is Nene's sister, but she has been raised with Sui since she was a child. Laliela knows that Sui is the royal princess and she was raised as her bodyguard cum maid-in-waiting. She is truly an incredible fighter. She does not wear her heart on her sleeve and takes a cool attitude to all encounters, but begins to change as she journeys with Sui.
Titi. Titi lives in Towngilde and has taken over for her missing father, a scientist of great renown. Following in his footsteps, Titi is in charge of overseeing the Imperial office program in charge of demystifying the technologies used in the hyper-advanced science savvy civilizations of antiquity with an eye to opening up the technologies to the public. After meeting Sui, Titi decides to depart on her journey with her.
Tazta. A young man living in Village Gilde. Though young, he is independent and proud of this. There is nothing he despises more than being treated like a child. While looking for his sister that he lost contact with in the old capital, he falls for Laliela the instant he sees her and joins up with Sui and company, deciding to journey with them.
