The Japanese dragon is a mythical creature that is very similar to the Chinese and Korean dragon. While being mentioned in Japanese mythology, it has also made it's role well known in pop culture from such as anime from DragonBall Z, Spirited away, and Final Fantasy. The kanji for dragon is pronounced as "Tatsu" or "Ryu" (Rhee-you) which is probably well recognized for the main character from Japan in the Street Fighter series of Video Games back in the 90s. For those who love to show off this piece of Japanese culture to the world, here's a wonderful shirt produced by the capital of traditional products in Tokyo - Asakusa. This pure black T-shirt has an intricate gold stitch-like pattern of a dragon along side with the Kanji for dragon (Ryu). 100% cotton, this great T-shirt is white and is size 3L (22" from armpit to armpit, 31" from top to bottom, corresponding to a U.S. size Extra Large).
